He was predeceased by: his former wife Rose Marie (Turgeon); his children, Hal (Iyla) and Shirley; and his parents, Réginald Courchesne and Jeanne Courchesne (Simon).
He is survived by: his sons, Reginald (Jamie) and David (Lola); his friend Dorothy Ann Lalonde; his grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Daniel, Debbie, Bradley, Tyler, Morgan and Christine; and his siblings, Rhéal, Réjean, Réjeanne and Raymonde. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
