He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Stanley and Catherine; his siblings, Don (late Norma), Billy, Lorne (Gale) and Lorraine (Ross); and his brother-in-law Donald (Esther).

He is survived by: his daughter Brenda; his siblings-in-law, Dianna (Wilfred), Alan (Maureen) and Linda (Richard); his close friends, Jack and Rose Berry; and also, Felix, Hunter, Forrest and Avery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
