He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his parents, Rocco DiPietro and Luigia DiPietro; his brother Frank (late Yola); and his siblings-in-law, Norma Werner (late Wolfgang) and Terry Marcoux (late Bill).

He is survived by: his children, Joanne Scornaienchi (late Mark), Paula Thompson (Billy), David DiPietro (Tonya), Tina Connors (Todd) and Linda Williamson (Graham); his grandchildren, Marcus (Joanna), Andrea (Rob), Mikaela, Tyler (Aly), Brett (Jessica), Dawson (Ryleigh), Dylana (Charlie), Jordan (Maryellen), Alexa, Jared (Dayle) and Ryland; and his brother Nick (Carmel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
