Pentti Olavi Torala Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pentti Olavi Torala (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on August 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Torala and Helga Torala; his siblings, Elli Mollari, Matti Torala (late Maija) and Vaino Torala (late Laina) of Finland; his nephews, Voitto Mollari and Matti Mollari (Heli); his great-niece Heidi; his close friend Mirjami Annala; and his grandfather Pentti (Mitchel Steinwedel) of Liisa.

He is survived by: his nieces, Kaija Breton (Jean-Paul), Ritva Mollari and Helena Mollari (Peter Derasp); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Markku, Matti Jr., Danielle, Nicole, Lana, Haley, Ryan, Aaron and David; his stepchild Maarit Steinwedel; and his friend Anelma Susimaki. He is also survived by his family.
