We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2018, Pekka Tapio Kurkiniemi (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his child John; his parents, Alma Kurkiniemi and Eemeli Kurkiniemi; his brother Matti (late Aino); and also, Risto (Eila) and Mauri.

He is survived by: his children, Timo (Leslie), Vesa and Anne; his sibling Pentti (Inkeri); and his siblings-in-law, Matti Laukkanen (Tuula) and Riitta Invenius (Martti). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
