He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo Piippo and Anna Sofia Piippo. He is survived by: his spouse Raili; his children, Paula Matheson (Don), Mimi Silk Eppert (Erich) and Karen; his grandchildren, Andrew (Bridget), Matt (Kate), Scott and Jake; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Jakson; his nieces, Anna-Liisa and Ann Marie; and also Finland.

Memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church, the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
