He was predeceased by: his wife Grace; and his granddaughter Tricia. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie (Stan), Jerry (Maggie), Doreen, Kim (John), Jamie (Rose) and Dean; and his grandchildren, Lisa (Jay), John (Isabelle), Nikki (Mike), Bill (Stephanie), Ashley (Justin), James (Heidi), Andrew, Mike (Missy), Candace, Stacey (Gord), Justin (Kate), Jennifer (Kyle), Chris (Amber), Trevor and Zackery. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family (payable online or by cheque).
