He is survived by: his brothers, Bob McMillan (Theresa), Jim McMillan (Sharon) and David McMillan (Lois); his nieces and nephews, Matthew McMillan (Brooke), Michael McMillan (Colleen), Julie Morrissette (Josh), Heather Bartlett (Thomas), Andrew McMillan and Johnny McMillan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sloan, Avery, Cru and Kyler.

In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque can be made in loving memory of Rev. Dr. John Nixon McMillan to the Trinity Episcopal Church.

“I got to know Nixon and Ann by being a part of the Choral camp staff, and feel so blessed that God allowed our paths to intertwine for several years. I will always remember Nixon's warm personality , great sense of humour , and of course , that infectious laugh. He was a very talented man is so many ways, but also so "down to earth " and took such a keen interest in each of our lives.
