She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. R. J. Cvetanovic and Jean Cvetanovic (MacDonald). She is survived by: her spouse Justice Edward Gareau; her daughters, Lauren, Alison and Maggie Gareau; her siblings, Michael Cvetanovic (Valerie) and Angela Lynch (Terry); and her pet Justie.
