Michele Santoro Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michele Santoro (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on March 21, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gilda (Plastino); his child Franca Guzzo (Michele); his great grandchild Sophia; and his sister-in-law Lina Ianni (Michele). He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Giovagnoli (George) and Ann Marie Santoro; his grandchildren, Paul Giovagnoli (Machelle), Laura Scarfo (Santo), Frank Guzzo (Nicki) and Steven Guzzo (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Douglas (Stephanie), Maria, Giuseppe, Abigail, Daniela, Alexis, Aerabella, Amia, Michaela and Leo; and his siblings, Giuseppe Santoro (late Iola), Teresa Cimino (late Pasquale), Emilia Santoro of Italy, Ottavio Santoro (Maria), Antonio Santoro (late Emilia) of Argentina, Salvatore Santoro (Luisa) of Italy and Michelina Adamo (late Eugenio). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current pandemic a private funeral mass will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Meals on Wheels or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
