It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Theresa Pearson (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Raoul Pearson; her children, Robert and Suzanne; her grandson Joseph Pearson; her parents, George Ross and Mary Anne Point (Ross); her stepfather Raoul Point; and her sisters, Mary "Tootsie" Coleman (late Bill) and Frances Woolley (late Bruce).
She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Pearson, Denise Pearson, Paul Pearson (Sylvia) and Margaret Bristow (Terry); her grandchildren, Danyelle Bristow Lachapelle (Jacob), Jennifer Neureuther (Scott), Jonathan Pearson and Matilda Couture (Tim); her great grandchild Sierra MacMillan; and her siblings, Gerald Point (Dini), Margaret Lethbridge (Douglas) and Judi Chaon (late Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
