She was predeceased by: her husband John Herbert Strachan; her siblings, Jackie VanDaele (Peter) and Louise Eklund (Henry); her sisters-in-law, Brenda Strachan (late Ron) and Cindy Hore (Chris); and also, Albert Lariviere (late Katie), Ross Lariviere, Ivan Lariviere, Raymond Lariviere, Vivian Autio (late Roger), Norman Strachan, Peter Strachan (Rose), Frank Strachan and Judy Couturier (Mark).
She is survived by: her close friend Patrick Hubbard; her children, Debbie Garside (Ken), Brian Strachan and Lori Strachan (Greg); her grandchildren, Sarah (David), Spencer, Keeley, John, Billy (Arnelda), Ashley (Joe), Amy (Kaleb) and Abby; and her great grandchildren, Keria and Caleb.
