Mary Ellen Smalec Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Smalec (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Smalec; her parents, Dan McPhee and Joy McPhee; her brother-in-law Robert Scarrott of Burlington, ON; and her parent-in-law Mykola Smalec.

She is survived by: her sons, Cole (Lauren) and Michael; her siblings, Laura McPhee, Donna and Mike House of Calgary, AB; her siblings-in-law, Mary, Anne, Jim Elliot, Ron and Jackie Smalec of Burlington, ON; her mother-in-law Helen Kucyk (Steve); her nieces and nephews, Peter (Melissa), Jeff Scarrott (Kim), Jamie (Tina), Joyce (Bryan), Jeff Elliot (Vicki) and Ellen House (Stefan); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Sophia, Hazel, Chloe, Thomas, James, Victoria, Nicholas, Nash and Wesley. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
