It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Evelyne Akiwenzie (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Lesage and Ida Lesage; her siblings, Harley (Elaine), Edward, Geraldine, Donald, Kenneth, Dennis, Leslie, Earl and Melva; her parents-in-law, Peter and Hannah Akiwenzie; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph, Ernest and Michael.

She is survived by: her children, Darryl of Sault Ste, Marie, Bonnie of Wikwemikong, Michael (Carrie) of Richmond, B. C. and Bryan of Sault Ste; and her grandchildren, Jasmine (Denis), Cheristy, Amanda (Dave), Michael, Kyle, Claire, Trystan and Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
