Margaret Isobel McHardy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Isobel McHardy (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Jim (Valerie) and Ken (Emma); her granddaughter Christina Marie; her parents, Elgin Donaghue and Sarah Donaghue; her siblings, Alice Kovich (Paul), Owen Donaghue (Julia), Russell Donaghue (Alice) and Edna Johnson (late Bud); and her siblings-in-law, Isobel "Peggy" (late Gord MacLeod) and Nancy Rose (Albert Dipinto).

She is survived by: her husband Hugh McHardy; her son Duncan (Wynne); her grandchildren, Scott (Maria), Amanda (James), Jennifer (Mike), Shari (Shawn), Dustin (Jackie), Patricia (Dale) and Jody (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Terra, Trista, William, Kylie, Joe, Ann, Stephanie, Wesley, Carter, Alex, Spencer, Olivia and Breya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522, Masks and Social Distancing are required). Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:30 p. m. (Masks and Social Distancing are required, maximum 80 people), Rev. Charlene Wilson officiating.
