It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maija Liisa Nenonen (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on April 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Pina Nenonen and Michael Nenonen; her sibling Mika; her grandparents, Vincenzo and Ilda Spadafora; her aunts, Lisa Figures (late Mike) and Lori Maunu (late Richard); her uncle Carlo Spadafora (late Erica); her cousin Matthew (Meagan); her friend Marie; and also, Leighton, Lilah, Christopher (Sarah), Macy, Ryan (Lianna), Leo, Bianca, Olivia, Tiffanie and Michael.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Gregory's Church or Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
