He was predeceased by: his wife Maria (Filosa); his parents, Francesco Sacchetta and Angelina Sacchetta; his siblings, Michele (late Lorraine), Marietta Collia (late Luigi) of Sault, Michigan, Peppina Lepore (late Frank), Adolfo and Mario; his father-in-law Luigi; and his siblings-in-law, Salvatore Filosa of Bristol, Connecticut., Adina DeRose (late Luigi) of Bristol, Connecticut. and Arturo Filosa of Bristol, Connecticut..
He is survived by: his children, Frank (Liliana Zappacosta) and Angela Grandinetti (Gerry); his grandchildren, Marcus, Adam, Kayla, Brandon and Sierra Grandinetti; his brother Gaetano (Angelina) of Bristol, Connecticut; and his mother-in-law Antonietta Filosa. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. Social distancing and the use of masks is mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
