He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rooley and Margaret Rooley; and his siblings, Jan Latimer, Genevieve Lacroix, Art, Sid, Bob and Lucy Rooley.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mantha; and his stepchildren, Colette Tenhumaki, Val Mantha (Dave Chlebus) and Julie Gorsuch (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations made to the Diabetes Association or to the Parkinson's Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
