She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Justin; her parents, Zilla Evans and Francis Evans; and her brothers, Basil, Gordon and Wayne.

She is survived by: her children, Gary McBride (Jean), Debbie Stewart (Greg) and Lorie Abu-Taah (Mohamed); her grandchildren, Gillian, Sherri, Gary Jr., Jeffrey, Johnathan, Serene, Nadia, Sabrina, Joanne and Sara; her great grandchildren, Mason, Samantha, Tyler, Hailey, Gavin, Sophia, Adam, Maya, Melina, Olivia, Owen and Rylee; her great great grandchildren, Grace, Chloe and Katherine; and her siblings, Nolene and Church. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
