He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Arnott and John Arnott; and his siblings, Doris Mattinen (Oliver), Bob (Joyce), Luana Waycik (Walter) and Ron (Shirley).

He is survived by: his significant other Doreen Atkins; his significant other's child Lindsay Virene; his sons, Leslie (Gwen) and Scott (Kelly); and his sister Johanna McPhee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
