With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Malboeuf (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on March 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his parents, Cyr Malboeuf and Olive Malboeuf; his siblings, Omer Malboeuf (late Claire), Cyril Malboeuf (late June), Oliver Malboeuf, Diane (late Gordon), Freda (late August) and Loretta (late Harry); his parents-in-law, William and Rose Yurechuk; his siblings-in-law, Nina Yurechuk, Walter Yurechuk (Celine) and Arthur Yurechuk (Velma); and his close friend Doris Becks.
He is survived by: his children, David (Mary Ellen), Denise Hribar (Dave) and Dale (Melanie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel.
Memorial donations made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
