It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leino Valdemar Veikko (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Veikko; and his sibling Viljo (Taimi). He is survived by: his child Tarja Loewen (Hugh Coverley); and his siblings, Erkki (late Pirkko), Eila and Anja (late Eino). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
His happy place to escape COVID last summer was at Maki Lake growing his vegetables and feeding his hummingbirds.
