She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Major. She is survived by: her children, Michael Major (Julie) of Barrie and Karen Major (Bob Hicks); her grandchildren, Robert Major (Stephanie), Ashley Murray Wood (Johnathan), Tyler Major (Kristen), Katie Hicks (Spencer) and Courtney Hicks (Dan); her great grandchildren, Joseph Murray Wood, Alex Murray Wood, Abigale Major and Robert James "RJ" Major; her sister Mary Phillips (late Harold); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Major (Dorieta), Lois Della Savia (late Lido), Bill Major, Marge Roberts (Albert), Lucy Schinners (Stan), Marion Blackmore (Harold), Shirley Crack (George) and Ruth Waltman (Paul). She is also survived by many special friends and extended family.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Lung Association, Sault Area Hospital Foundation or ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
