He is survived by: his wife Linda Ruhanen (Marija); his children, Lisa Keranen (Dan) and Ivan Ruhanen (Chandra); his grandchildren, Aila, Seija and Leo; and his siblings, Erkki, Ulla, Pirkko and Leena.
