Judah Lawrence Gringorten Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judah Lawrence Gringorten (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Gringorten and Pearl Gringorten; and his brother Barry (Marion Gringorten). He is survived by: his son Michael Gringorten (Mickey); his daughter-in-law Dr. Leann Knight; his grandchildren, Noah and Atley Gringorten; and his siblings, Carla (Alain Baudot) and Reesa Gringorten.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the O'sullivan Funeral Home (215 St James St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A1P7). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A6J8). A reception was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the O'sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (215 St James St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A1P7).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Larry's honour can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or the Jewish National Fund.
