She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Franklin Porter and Jane "Jennie" Albina Kenshol; her significant other Ted Finlayson; her sisters, Shirley Woods (late Tom), Dana Folco (late Ermie) and Lois Porter; and her parents-in-law, Becking, Gladys Bayles (late Al), Kay Brodie (late Art), Alec Finlayson (late Sally) and Jack Finlayson (late Elva).

She is survived by: her children, Carol Heaslip (Rick), James "Jim" Finlayson (Christine) and John Finlayson (Meril); her grandchildren, Christopher Heaslip (Lisa Poeta), Greg Heaslip (Julie Girard), Jason Finlayson (Allison Legere), Shannan Mayer (Greg) and Jeremy Finlayson; and her great grandchildren, Alexia, Eddie, Lena Heaslip, Elizabeth, A. J., Merrick Heaslip, Roderick, Maxwell Mayer, Teddy Finlayson and Jayden Legere. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
