He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his parents, Vincenzo Chilelli and Rosa Chilelli; his brother Francesco (Rosina); his parents-in-law, Michele and Erminia Gerbone; and his siblings-in-law, Cesina and Anselmo (late Armando).

He is survived by: his sons, Tony (Laurie) and Mario (Andrea); his grandchildren, Cory, Anthony (Angela), Jason (Mae), Miranda (Ian) and Matthew; his siblings, Maria Capiscolto "Capy" (late Ermanno), Tony (Rita), Alda Gualtieri (late Emilio) of Italy, Ottorino (late Alice) and Rino (Maria); and his siblings-in-law, Lina, Ada (late Tony), Franca (late Mario) and Aldo (Rina). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
