We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2020, at the age of 84, Jim McAuley (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim McAuley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene McAuley (Featherstone); and his parents, Delmar McAuley and Pearl McAuley. He is survived by: his children, Jana Schmidt (late Ron), Victoria "Vicki" Hancock (late Mike) of Kitchener and Greg McAuley (Marley); his siblings, Del, Pozzo (Barry) and Elizabeth "Betty" Tucker (Thomas); his grandchildren, Brandon, Alex Schmidt (Melany), Kaitlin (Michael), Brittany Hancock (Jacob) and Collin McAuley (Sarah); and his friend Beverley Szatanski. He is also survived by his many dogs or friend's dogs.

Jim was a permanent fixture at the Greyhound Games right up until the Pandemic ended the 2019 season.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions (payable by cheque or on line) to Sault Ste Marie Animal Shelter or Alzheimer Association would be appreciated.
