It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jason Merling (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Ann Merling; his brother Kevin Merling; his uncle Duane (Jack Grexton); and his grandparents, Eddie, Ada Grexton, Frank and Maria Merling.
He is survived by: his father George Merling; his brothers, Ted (Annette), David (Julie) and James (Theresa); his uncles, John (Donalda Merling) and Bob (Bonnie Burke); his aunt Nancy Grexton; his nieces and nephews, Grant (Patricia), Joshua, Courtney (Sam), Melissa (Lyall), Sarina (Mitch), Katie (Hank), Brittany, Shannon, Jessica (Charlie) and Tanner; and his close friends, Tammy Sisson and Susan Plastino. He is also survived by friends and his fur babies.
To honor his memory, Jason would have wanted to donate to the Arch Hospice as this meant a great deal to him and close to his heart as they took excellent care of his mom near the end of her life journey.
