He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Keranen and Anna Keranen; his parents-in-law, Pentti and Alli Hynna; his sibling Jarmo (Anna); and his sibling-in-law Tapani Hynna (Phyllis).
He is survived by: his children, Heidi and Hannu (Meagan); his granddaughters, Ava and Tiia; his spouse Elsi; and his siblings, Juha (Veronica), Marjo (Mike), Sami (Margit), Pasi (Mirja) and Danny (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH or Ontario Finnish Rest Home.
