He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Sara and Scott; his parents, Annie Verdoni and Marion Caron; and his siblings, Geraldine (Mervin), Sandra (late Don) and Gerry.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Trisha"; his children, Linda Van Schooneveld (Ken), James (Lori McQueen), Anthony (Roger Allen) and Lisa (Tara Thibodeau); his grandchildren, Matthew (Sara), Melissa, Jamie-Lynn (Benn), Andrew, Kathryn (Casey), Ayden and Erin; his great grandchildren, Mattea and Freya; his siblings, Shirley (Jack), Judy (Rick) and Toni-Ann (Peter); and his close friends, Don and Donna Ford.

Due to COVID restrictions, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
