He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Allison; his parents, Bruce Inkster and Peggy Inkster; his parents-in-law, John and Nancy Frost; his siblings, Stacey Inkster, Gavin Inkster, Kevin Merritt and Wayne Merritt; his siblings-in-law, Marty and Rick Frost; and his pets, Hunter and Kaylee. He was also cherished by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oddfellows and Rebekahs.
