He was predeceased by: his wife Lila; his great grandchild Nashton Boivin; his parents, Dallas Ambrose and Leticia Luxton; his siblings, Patricia Wilson, Bill (late Anne), Bob, Ted and Dick Luxton; his parents-in-law, Lyle and Katherine Bethune; and his siblings-in-law, Pat (late Joe) and Randy (late Hazel).

He is survived by: his children, Michael Luxton, Aileen Adams (Gord) and Penny Luxton (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Alyssa Egan (Greg), Delaney Adams, Cierra and Jacob Luxton; his great grandchildren, Isla Egan and Sienna Egan; his brothers, Peter Luxton (Lucy) and Gerry Luxton; and his niece Kelly (Don Ryan).
