She was predeceased by: her husband John Douglas Sykes (Doug); her sons, Clive Maxwell, John Douglas and Howard Cameron; her grandson Matthew; her parents, George Maxwell and Cecilia Maxwell; and her sister Kathleen.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Russell; and her grandchildren, Keira, Meriya and Olivia.
