She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; her parents, Jack McCaig and Aveline McCaig (Lowey); her parents-in-law, Stella and Ernest McKelvie; her brothers, Dave (Rena) and Doug (Joanne); and her siblings-in-law, Walter (Sylvia), Ernie McKelvie and Ailene Shabatura (Carl).

She is survived by: her children, Ellen (John), Jackie (Randy), Rick (Vicky) and Sheri (Kurt); her grandchildren, Tanya, Nicole (John), Ryan (Megan), Zachary (Lauryn), Christopher (Courtney), Austin, Emma and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Jalen, Shayna, Bryce of Saija, RJ, Benny, Rowan, Oliver, Hunter, Barrett, Savannah, Maxwell and Avery. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and special lifelong friends.
