She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Tanninen and Vieno Tanninen; and her brothers, Leo, Seppo, Esa, Heikki, Vesa and Edward.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Hodnett; her siblings, Hannu Tanninen (Doris), Eija Marttinen (Armas), Martti Tanninen (Eva), Sisko Kysar (Russell), Mark Tanninen (Diane), Seija Lemieux (Jerry), Pekka Tanninen (Mari), Effie Raisanen (late Marvin), Lauri Tanninen (Anni) and Ruth Vuohijoki (Tuomo); her friend America; and her caregivers, Livia and Sierra. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Old Apostolic Church or ARCH and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
