She was predeceased by: her parents, Matti Kuparinen and Riitta Kuparinen; her siblings, Juho, Eino, Väinö and Alina; and her son Tenho Ahola.

She is survived by: the parent of her child Eino; her former husband Arvo Hill; her daughter-in-law Denise (Robin); her close friends, Helene, Anna-Marie, Annie and Iris; and her husband Eino Ahola.
