We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2024, at the age of 95, Helmi Louise Sawchyn (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Helmi Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helmi Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, the Sault Humane Society (especially for the cats), or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
