He was predeceased by: his sons, Gary (Joan) and Kevin (Bonnie); his parents, Albert Long and Hazel Long; and his siblings, Robert "Slim" (late Sonia), Barbara Meyers (Bob), Elgin Long (Marie), Ted Long (Sandra) and Linda Weir (late Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Randy (Debbie), Alan (Joanne), Ruth Johnson, Debbie Michaud (Bill) and Greg (Tammy); and his sibling Shirley Vine (late Bud). He is also survived by step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
