He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruno Strahle and Lily Strahle; his daughters, Ursula Porter (Michael) and Ingrid McPhee (William); and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Sawyer (Kevin), Ila Sylvestre (Eric), Ben Porter (Ali), Katelyn McPhee, Mitchell McPhee (Brianna), Tate Sawyer, Emma Sawyer, Caleb Sylvestre, Michael Sylvestre and Hailey Porter.
