It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Girlie Helen Collings (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Collings; her siblings, Guy Fremlin (late Elizabeth), Bill Fremlin (late Murial), Frank Fremlin (late Amelia), Clark Fremlin (late Margorie), Katherine Lapish (late Willard), Nora Omnett (late Lloyd), Lu Fremlin, Jack Fremlin (late June), Tom Fremlin and Roger Fremlin (late Patricia); her siblings-in-law, Jean Richards, Ellis Boivert, Elwood Collings, Florance Lobban, Bill Collings and Kathleen Willett; and her parents, Duncan Fremlin and Marion Fremlin.
She is survived by: her children, Katharine Rydall (Fred) and Grant Collings; her grandchildren, Jayne Rydall (Jim), Hanna Rydall (James), Greg Collings (Tiffany), Brian Collings (Brandi), Dan Collings (Taylor), Robbi Collings (Greg), Duncan Rickaby (Stephanie), Jessica Kudryk (Ian), Kate Beaulieu (Nick) and Brent Beaulieu; her great grandchildren, Nick, Sawyer, Daphne Hurst, Elara, Adalynn, Everleigh Collings, Brinley, Blakely, Bodhi Collings, Poppy, Matilda Collings, Sydney, Jackson Rickaby and Liam Kudryk; and her sister Beth Bruce (late Bayne).
Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) in Girlie's honour may be made to the Dr. Trefry Memorial Centre in Richards Landing, Ontario.
