With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Giovanni Santoro (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his significant other Ida; his parents, Roberto Santoro and Maria Santoro; his sisters, Lina (late Carmen) of Brazil and Lucia of Italy; and his parents-in-law, Amadeo and Nicoletta Stefano.

He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Santoro and Silvana Bassanello (Steve); his granddaughters, Emma and Megan Bassanello; and his sisters, Rosa Stefano (late Franco) and Lydia (late Luigi) of Italy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.
