He was predeceased by: his former spouse Marion (Smith); his parents, Bruno Fata and Adelina; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Valente (Sam) and Cathy Pinch.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Valente); his children, Jamie (Rhonda) and Aaron; his grandchildren, Sabrina and Colton; his stepchildren, Joe (Carmen) and Rose (Bruno); his siblings, Silvana Palumbo (Luigi), Rico (Karen) and Dan (late Gina); and his siblings-in-law, Emily Pagliaro (Marcello), Frank Gencarelli (Mirella), John Gencarelli (Anne), Ida Albanese (Vince), Gord Smith (late Riitta), Penny DeSousa (late Luis) and Len Pinder (Vicky).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel.
