She was predeceased by: her husband Catharinus; and her stepgrandson Marty Black. She is survived by: her children, George Sjoerd (Millie) of Grimsby, Teddy Tetje of Welland, Bernice Wietske Higginson (late Terry), Hieke of Welland, Riley, Reagan, Catherine Fera (Luke), Hannah, Ethan of London and Ashley of Fort McMurray.

With an abundance of caution due to COVID-19, the family will not receive condolences in person. You are welcome to join the journey for Interment at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p. m., but please wear a mask.

Therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sault Area Hospital Foundation in her name, would be appreciated by the family.
