He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Rushton; his parents, Seymour Rushton and Beulah Rushton; and his siblings, Linda, Marie and Bobby.

He is survived by: his children, Marnie Ragot (Mark) of Barrie and Sheri Iaconis (Grant) of St. Thomas, Ontario.; and his grandchild Eryka Ragot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
