She was predeceased by: her daughters, Carol Johnston and Nancy Jean Johnston; her grandson Craig; her siblings, Anne Vidal (late Lawrence) and Andrew Saumur; and her brothers-in-law, Ian (Dorothy) and Ron.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Johnston; her children, Vivian Gasteldo (Deni), Gloria Vidal, Andrew Vidal, Janet Becker (Rudy), Bob Johnston (Mary Sue) and David Johnston (Karen); her grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Joel, Michael, Joshua, Timmy, Jamie, Vanessa, Adam, Amy, Tara, Stephanie, Ken, Shawn, Mathew, Megan and David; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Jadyn, Xavier, Caitlin, Lukas, Oscar, Elodie, Adam and Tristan; and her sister-in-law Janice Dool (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
