He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Lapointe and Anna Lapointe; his parents-in-law, Frank and Anne Tesarsky; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne and Lester Hill of Fort Frances.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Dawn Marie, Jacqueline and Karen Marrocco (Joey); his grandchildren, Joshua Lapointe-Noel of Mississauga, Kai Meyer of Sault Ste, Chase Meyer of Sault Ste and Marie; his siblings, Jackie Connell of Ottawa and Dennis Lapointe (Sheila) of Pembroke; his sister-in-law Barbara Schmidt (late Richard) of Edmonton; his nieces and nephews, Gregory Connell (Kelly) of Ottawa, Brad Connell (David Cameron) of Ottawa, Steven Connell of Pembroke, Dennis Schmidt (Bobbi) of Edmonton, Ryan Hill of Corunna, Kyla Schmidt (Bruno) of Toronto and Lindsey Edwards (Mike) of Thunder Bay; and his close friends, Terry, Dan and Dave. He is also survived by cousins, friends and former co-workers.
Memorial donations to ARCH, SAH Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
