She was predeceased by: her parents, Luisa Masci and Pietro Masci; her spouse Settembrino "Peter" Foggia; and her sibling Maruzza Luzzi (late Biaggio) of Italy. She is survived by: her children, Mary-Lou Smuczek (Stan), Lucy Kauppi (Robert), Anna, Silvana, Franca, Julie and Peter; her grandchildren, Joey Smuczek of Burlington, Stephanie Smuczek of Toronto, Trina of Sault Ste, Adam Kauppi (Samantha) of North Bay, Joshua Bonds of Chatham, Nicholas Bonds of Sault Ste, Rayann Sewdell of Sault Ste, Annarae Jarrett (Chad) of Sault Ste, Christina Legere (Michael) of Toronto and Patrick Desgrossliers of Mexico; her siblings, Angelo Masci (late Gemma) of Sault Ste, Marie, Grace Tarsitano (Tony) of Montreal, Fernando Masci (Tonina) of Italy, Jepino Masci of Italy and Rita Masci of Italy; and her siblings-in-law, Ada of Italy, Romolo of Italy, Ettore of Italy, Alphonso of Italy and Anna Maria of Italy. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the O'sullivan Funeral Home (215 St James St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A1P7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A1P7).
