It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erik Klaus Jokinen (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Hawkins (Jamie); and his parents, Taimi Ristimella and Alvar Jokinen. He is survived by: his spouse Tess Jokinen; his children, Laura Lacaille (Joey), Dave McLaughlin (Caitlin), Johnathon McLaughlin (Christine) and Darren Jokinen (Kerri); his grandchildren, Connor, Jerry Gabby and Tannis; and his siblings, Shirley Tye (late John), Ritva Sanz and Ron Jokinen (Maja).
Memorial donation made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation in Erik's name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
