It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ensio Henrik Hamalainen (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Viljam Hamalainen and Anni Hamalainen; his siblings, Aira, Enok (Aili), Martti (Marja-Liisa), Pertti and Aili (Martti); and his brother-in-law Tapio Saariniemi.
He is survived by: his wife Tuula; his children, Jani (Annemieke) and Nina (Ryan); his grandchildren, Callen and Kainan; his brothers, Erkki and Eelis (Inger); his brother-in-law Markku Saariniemi (Anne); and also Sweden.
